MEMBERS URGED TO CONTINUE TO GIVE OF THEIR BEST AT 65TH ANNIVERSARY THANSGIVING SERVICE

“Give your best and encourage all others to do the same.” these were the words of advice from Rev. Jillian S. Crawford as she delivered the sermon during our 65th Anniversary Church Service held at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church earlier this month.

Reverend Crawford said: “You are called upon to set the tone and example in your management structures in order that those whom you serve, train and work with, may emulate and see the best practices.

“Your challenge as you hear these words and celebrate this anniversary is to remember that there is no place where God is not and hence he must never be left out. For the psalmist 127 reminds, except the lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.

“So through the years ahead, as you have been called to service, I urge you to teach, admonish, correct, love, help - give your best and encourage all others to do the same and in so doing, you too will make disciples for growth and development.”

During the service, Chairman of the Association, Roseanne Myers, pledged the BHTA’s continued commitment to the industry. She said, “We have to lead and we have to make our contributions to tourism, inspired by a higher power than just money and just profit, and just trying to make our way day by day.

“We are inspired to do the best that we can with honesty and integrity. That is why we are here at church today as we celebrate. We have to make a contribution inspired by a higher power. Make a contribution outside of ourselves and outside our companies.”
